Awesome book of survival and intrigue
This is a great book to use for the classroom. I plan to use it in my 6th grade Language Arts class. This book has it all - great characters, superb plot, survival/adventure aspects, and internal and external conflicts. I look forward to reading more of Roland Smith's books.

Jaguar is a very exciting book that will keep you turning pages. It is about a young boy named Jake Lansa. It is a series from the first book, Thunder Cave. Jake's gransfather is a Hopi Indian and his father is a field biologist, Robert, who is called Doc. Doc is helping his best friend, Bill to make a Jaguar reservation. But when the boat mysteriously explodes, it kills Bill and injures Buzz, the pilot for the Jaguar tracking device. Doc decides to create the dream of his best friend with his son and his girlfriend, Flanna (Jake's mother died), along with a strange person named Silver who has a boat ready for them. They reach the reservation spot, and with the help of Raul, an Indian, they track a jaguar mother and her 2 kids. Doc falls ill and a terrorist who knows Silver takes over. It seems that their reservation spot is near a gold mine, and a few like Silver and the captor want to get rich. Flanna killed him and they were safe. Baby Jaguar a Hit
My kids love Diego so they loved this baby Jaguar animal. My only complaint is that it is small. I was hoping it would be much bigger; something you could really cuddle with, but it is the size of any other Beanie Baby. I can't believe how difficult it is to find a Baby Jaguar stuffed animal on-line. This was pretty much all I could find. The kids still love it though; I guess that is all that matters :).

Great for die hard fans
My 2.5 year old is in LOVE with baby jaguar, and all she asked for for Christmas last year was a baby jaguar toy. I'm so glad we found this for her- she carrys it everywhere, sleeps with it... its her lovey. Because he's so well loved, he gets pretty dirty- he's been through the washer several times and has held up really well. The other great thing about him is that he is the perfect size for little hands to hold. My daughters hand fits perfectly around his back to carry him.

Baby Jaguar goes "ROAR"!
I'm breaking out of my comfort zone here (I usually ONLY review books, movies and music) to review a toy I recently purchased for my daughter (this is the third of potentially 5 reviews). My daughter (who is 2) is IN LOVE with Dora and Diego. She already has a few Dora dolls (not to mention a bedspread) but I just couldn't resist these little Ty dolls.I actually really like the size. She can stuff all five of her dolls in her Dora Backpack and take them around the house with her. She loves to take Baby Jaguar to bed with her (I don't advise young ones sleeping with Dora or Diego, beings that their hair is a bit of a choking hazard). In fact, one of the reasons I purchased these little guys was for Jaguar, who my daughter kept asking for. She already had a Dora and Boots but her sudden fascination with Diego caused her to long for a Baby Jaguar of her own.Now she has one.Yes, I gave it only four stars on durability since the ware and tear of a...

Classy keychain
Very nice looking, shiny and the jaguar is about 3 inches and is a good weight. It says "Jaguar" on the bottom side of the cat in small print. Well worth the money. Seems like it will last a long time. I highly recommend for any Jaguar enthusiasts.
